Bali May 2014 - Before departure

To tell the truth, ni la percutian yang paling tidak dijangkakan. It is planned since my father need to utilise the point in his vacation card before end of the year. So we have to search for a vacation spot that is available to utilise and also affordable. Finally, we chose Bali as our family trip for this year. Thought of going by year end but lepas survey on the weather, it is not advisable to go to Bali during the wet season in which in most of the days within the months it will be wet, meaning hujan, so byk aktiviti yg x boleh nk buat. The best is to go during the dry season within April to September. Again mesti kene book hotel & flight during the school break which means it's either end of May or in September. Since, my mom & dad wouldn't be around in September, we chose to book for the trip during the school holiday in May. Mcm biase kene la belek2 flight ticket yg murah. As usual, I will browse all available local & international flight e.g Airasia, Malindo, MAS etc..but this time around I have to go for Airasia as it was the cheapest.

My dad own a Sunway Vacation card and he is entitled to book for Jayakarta Bali Club Suites. Therefore, we managed to book 2 rooms with his available points for 5 days 4 nights. Ok la cukup la 5 hari. Then, I started to look into the net all attractions in Bali that we can go with kids. Knowing Bali, it is more to honeymoon vacation and with 90% of the citizens is Hindhu it might be a bit difficult for us to find halal foods. Bile tgk all the agent sites, byk arrangement of site seeing and also visit to Pura (Temple). Since I'm having my mom and dad along which I knew they are not comfortable visiting those Pura even for sight seeing therefore I have to arrange on my own. Finally, I did my own itenarary in which I include activities that is suitable for all of us. Resturant pun tgk2 yg halal...tp susah jugak. I will story in my next update.

Haa..dengan entrance ticket skali survey sbb nk budget2...in the list still ade 3 ke 4 temple in the visit...tu pun dh tapis habis yg mane view lawa2 je utk bergambar. Next looked for transport..after reading comments and knowing the transport rental, I decided to just hire a Supir (driver)...disbbkan amatlah malas nk ask for few quotes, I just get a quote from an agent who my SIL recommended sbb die dh pegi...she had also get few quotes and told me that this is the cheapest and is a Muslim owner...for 5 days 4 nights altogether the quote is IDR 1,450,000.00 lbh kurang RM435. Nk senang kire IDR10,000 = RM3. Time kiteorg tukar duit is actually RM2.85 just round up je le senang kire. Transport suzuki APV yg muat utk 6 dewasa 3 kanak2. Tapi utk pick up dgn time balik ade 2 transport. 1 transport utk bawak beg. Banyak ooo beg mase time pg. one of my beg penuh dgn makanan je...kate dinner mkn kt hotel je...

Finally, the day has come. Hehe..departure time is on the last day of school day before mid term break. Wah!! We're going to take off from KLIA2..best2..n ade ERL (KLIA Transit) direct to KLIA2. ok, nice sbb x perlu mintak tolong my sisters hantakan. Kesian dieorg nk kene amik cuti plak. So we decided to get on the ERL (KLIA Transit) from Putrajaya to KLIA2. Huh, first time naik ERL ni. From Putrajaya harga tiket dewasa RM6.20, kanak-kanak RM3, warga emas & student yg ade Kad Siswa discount 30%. Ok la tu, kalau naik kete pun kene bwk 2 kete, duit minyak, duit tol segala jd lebih kurang je. The journey from Putrajaya Sentral to KLIA2 is approximately 20 mins.

Anak2 yg jakun naik ERL...sampai je KLIA2, sume main ikut orang je jalan..hahah..x tau kt mane nk drop baggage...dr level ERL kene naik 1 level dulu baru masuk dlm building KLIA2, then kene naik lagi 1 level utk pg area departure...sampai departure hall terpinga2...eh mane kaunter nih...blurr lg, tgk screen besar tulis gate no je, punye la bengong pg cr huruf P, rupe2nye tu gate utk berlepas bkn no kaunter...kaunter Airasia kt kaunter U & V, pg je memane kaunter yg bukak...sbb 1st time sampai KLIA2, I did ask the airasia lady yg jage kaunter, gate P ni jauh tk sbb nk budget2 bersuka ria dulu kt luar sblm masuk terminal...her answer "Kak, gate P maybe dlm 30min sbb jauh tp kalau berjalan2 dgn budak2 ni ade la sampai sejam"....huwaaa, terkezut akak...sejam oooiii...mau longgar lutut. So sbb takut kang x sempat sampai gate, kiteorg pun decide la masuk terus heading to terminal. x sempat la nk pusing2 area departure hall KLIA2...Dlm laluan aerobridge sempat la kiteorg bergambar, ade gak yg tgh dok buat penggambaran iklan, x tau la iklan ape...since ade mase dlm 2 jam time nk berlepas so kiteorg pun take time la berjln2 kt situ sambil bergambar...finally, x sampai 30 min pun aku berjln campur passport validation, immigration check, dh sampai terminal, pepandai je cik kak kaunter ckp sejam...budget besar la sgt KLIA2...cume ye la die x byk travelator mcm KLIA, tp for me much2 better from LCCT yg sesak, at least KLIA2 x le crowded sgt, boleh lg nk bernafas

Since awal lg, kiteorg pg solat dulu kt surau n merayau nk cr lapik perut..ade McDonald tp mak aiiii panjangnye queue! Kaunter yg bukak 2 je plak tu...adoi la...apsal la x bukak sume kaunter...x jd la kiteorg nk melahap dulu. Turun level bwh ade gloria jeans coffee n a few more shops...ok la. before nk depart igt nk grab air sebotol due n buns kt kedai depan terminal gate P but it is damn expensive...buns yg biase beli kt luar RM 1.5 ke RM 2 kt situ jd RM6...air mineral pun RM6 sebotol yg 500 ml tu...ha tobat x beli dh dlm tu...isi perut siap2 sblm gerak ke terminal yek.

Comparing KLIA2 n LCCT, I will say my preference is KLIA2 sbb jln berbumbung n variety shops n stalls...although perjalanan lbh kurang je jauhnye tp bile jln berbumbung x de le rase jauh...at least kalau x larat bleh duduk jap..dulu kt LCCT penah experience nk naik flight time hujan..huhu dieorg bg payung dr kawasan berbumbung nk jln ke flight tp mcm x berguna je sbb still basah...masuk flight jenuh menggigil sbb terus masuk kawasan beraircond dlm keadaan basah...then ade ERL, so bleh la bertolak dr putrajaya sentral je...kalau LCCT dulu kene naik bas...leceh kalau dgn kids...
